We Wish You A Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Another year has gone by and it’s time to show the most important woman in your life how special she really is! Mother’s Day is the perfect opportunity to tell mom how much you love and appreciate everything she does on a daily basis. Take the time today to do an activity together that is both fun and active for the whole family. Help mom out with gardening, go on a hike, or even better, go for a jump on your Springfree Trampoline!

There are a million reasons to love mom and we asked our Springfree family from all over the globe what they love about their own mom the most. Here’s what they told us…

How are you celebrating Mother's Day this year?

Our first ever Jump For Kids event was a huge success!

Thanks to everyone that attended our inaugural Jump for Kids last Sunday in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The event was rockin with over 1000 people attending and raising much needed funds for Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia.

It was a fun day with lots of registered jumpers doing Star Jumps and Slam Dunks on the world’s safest trampoline and enjoying stacks of free kid’s activities including balloon twisting, face painting, sausage sizzle and heaps of free Giveaways from the Nova street team.

We also wanted to say a special thank you to our Jump For Kids Ambassador, Hayley Lewis!

Here are some cool pics from the day

Meet the Springfree Team: Julian

Introduce yourself.
My Name is Julian McNaughton and I’m a Marketing Intern for Springfree Trampoline. I’m 20 years old with a Diploma in Broadcasting-Journalism. Starting in January I’ll be working towards a degree in Business/Marketing.

How long have you been working at Springfree Trampoline?
I’ve been working at Springfree for five years now, since I was 15.

What is your job title and what does your job entail?
When I first started at Springfree, I worked in the warehouse as casual labor. Starting in February of 2012, about six months after I graduated, I moved into the Marketing department where I’m currently working as a Marketing intern. My main job as a Marketing intern is to coordinate events and prepare our events team for them. I also assist the marketing coordinator in marketing plans, promotions and development of product collateral.

What has been a highlight of your time working here?
The highlight of my time working at Springfree definitely has to be the National Home Show. The home show was my first major event. It was a long ten days but I enjoyed it. I learned a lot that I can apply to the work that I do now.

What do you like most about your job?
My favorite thing about being a Marketing intern is that I’m always learning something new. With different events happening every week, it allows for a change in the work pace which makes everything more enjoyable.

What do you like most about the company?
What I like most about the company, is its passion. The drive and the passion that the leaders of this company have is indescribable and it rubs off on us all.

What’s a funny/unique fact about yourself?
I am a HUGE soccer fan. Every Sunday during the soccer season, no matter what time, I wake up and watch my beloved Lazio play. When Italy won the 2006 World cup I weeped like a baby for days and when Italy lost in the Euro Cup final this summer I again weeped like a baby… Pathetic, I know.

What’s your favourite Springfree Trampoline model to bounce on?
Hands down my favourite Springfree model to jump on is the S113.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Springfree Trampolines?
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of Springfree is quality. With quality, comes safety, durability and longevity.

What did you think about when you first jumped on a Springfree?
My first thought when I first jumped on a Springfree Trampoline, other than knowing instantaneously that it was the safest trampoline in the world, was how can I possibly incorporate a soccer net into the FlexiNet???

The Perfect Jumping Playlist

We recently asked our Facebook community a very difficult question:

If you could bounce to any song, what would it be?

After a ton of different song choices were thrown at us, we thought it would be a great idea to compile a playlist! This way you can jump to some other Springfree fans’ song choices too. In order to make this playlist the best it could be, we turned to the Springfree team to give us their choices as well. So, which tunes made the cut you ask?

1. Jump For My Love – The Pointer Sisters (STAFF PICK!)

2. Jump Around – House of Pain

3. Apache (Jump On It) – Sugar Hill Gang

4. It’s My Life – Bon Jovi (STAFF PICK!)

5. Free Fallin’ – Tom Petty

6. Jumpin’ Jumpin’ – Destiny’s Child (STAFF PICK!)

7. I Like To Move It – Reel 2 Real

8. Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) – Kelly Clarkson (STAFF PICK!)

9. Stayin’ Alive – Bee Gees

10. Don’t Let Your Feet Touch Ground – Ash Koley (STAFF PICK!)

Do you sense a pattern? ;)

Share with us what your go-to jumping song is!

Springfree Supports Movember

We’re halfway through the month of November but some of you may refer to this month as… Movember.

If you’re a frequent reader of the Springfree Trampoline blog, you know that we love anything related to the following: trampolines, family time and health and wellness. The Movember campaign raises funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer.

For the entire month of Movember, “Mo Bros” dedicate their faces to the campaign. They grow a moustache to become walking and talking billboards for the movement to “change the face of men’s health”.

Ladies, don’t fret if you can’t grow a moustache. “Mo Sistas” can also participate.

The Canadian Springfree office has a team of Mo Bros: Mo-scular Men.

(From L-R) Joel (business analyst), Steve (chief bouncing officer), Saugar (web/systems manager) & AJ (e-commerce specialist) looking at bit hairier than usual! ;)

Movember’s campaign values are fun, caring and innovative. We can most definitely relate to these values and Springfree Trampoline is happy to participate in this important cause.

Are you a Mo Bro or Mo Sista? Let us know in the comments or share your pic on our Facebook page.

Who’s hot in the kitchen? Springfree™ Trampoline Bouncy Managers that’s who!

Undefined

Our Aussie Management team is taking part in the 2011Kidsafe Cook-off in King George Square on national Kidsafe Day, Tuesday 25 October, to help raise money and keep kids out of hospital.

Springfree will be hot in the kitchen!

This great foodie challenge will see 15 teams, each representing a different occupation; compete to seek who’s best at cooking up a storm. (*Ahem,

we already know who is but we’ll go along for the fun ;)

With just two hours, two testing challenges and only a one-burner barbeque, teams of four will cook their hearts out to please a panel of celebrated chef judges and become culinary champions.

Sponsored by Channel 10 and Sizzler, the Kidsafe Cook-off 2011 will start at 11.15am with a basic cooking challenge. If you’re in the area make sure you pop down and support the bouncy managers from Springfree! We’ll also have an R79 (medium round) set-up to give all supporters a jump.

Kidsafe is a national not-for-profit organisation with the aim of keeping kids out of hospital. All proceeds from the day will be used to further Kidsafe’s current driveway safety campaign. In Queensland alone, three children are run over in low-speed incidents each week, usually at their own homes.

We hope to see you there! Make sure you wish our managers luck .
